About Bridalpick Wholesales PartnersThe wedding day:
Preparations...
The morning of the storm clouds were on the horizon? But nothing would put a damper on the fun for this wedding party as a crew of stylists from Paula Mayer Studios arrived to do hair and make up for the 10 bridesmaids, the bride and her mother Anseth.
The Champagne and laughter were overflowing! Both True Photography team and Eagle Lion Video team were onsite to capture the
transformations and document all the preparation details. Two ten-passenger vintage Rolls Royce Limousines from Rolls Livery arrived to transport the girls to the church.
Anseth thought ahead and brought along some large golf umbrellas she keeps in her studio for just such rainy occasions to protect the dress and all the beautiful hair
dos from the spring showers. To complete her wedding look, as a proud and overjoyed mother of the bride- Anseth, placed the family heirloom vintage Brussels
lace veil on her beaming daughter. Followed by a family
gold coin taped into Sienna's wedding shoe for luck?another long time family tradition. Then her
stylist, Paula worked her magic with final touch ups to hair and make up?a fabulous treat to have your beauty stylist there for a final once over before the big walk down the aisle!
The ceremony:
In the Church preparations were well under way too! Chris of Indulge Flowers embellished the churches beautiful candelabras with gorgeous cascading accents of roses, tulips and hydrangeas. Caprice Strings was there to provide exquisite music as guests arrived.and throughout the ceremony. The officiant was Pastor Michael Spitters who performed a wonderful ceremony with touching moments like a rose exchange as a first marriage gift.
Even Mother Nature joined the team and was kind enough to halt the rain before the ceremony so pictures could be taken of the wedding party. She even gave her blessing to the wedding by providing an inspiring full arch brilliant rainbow over the church!
The reception:
As guests arrived at the reception, cocktails and appetizers were being served while our Jazz band from NRG Entertainment entertained the guests. Once wedding photos were complete, the wedding party was transported to the La Jolla Country Club in a luxury limo bus from NStyle Limousine. They entered the cocktail reception with formal MC introductions. Mr. & Mrs. Feerrar where announced into a room filled with applause and cheers, as they moved right into their atypical first dance. The first dance, one
of Sienna's favorite, was to the Rolling Stones "Beast of Burden" a song she grew up listening to...
as it was played often by her father Keith Richards, a big Stones fan!
The couple then led the way into an additional room where the dinner reception was held. This room had been purposely hidden from any guest or bridal party as to ensure a surprise primed for the bride and groom that would be revealed as the white-gloved waiters dramatically opened the grand doors and the room was unveiled to a beaming Sienna and Todd entering and grasping the first view of the elegant ambiance prepared just for them, which absolutely caused them both to stop dead in their tracks and automatically filled their faces with joy and smiles from ear to ear with all their guests surrounding them closely behind.
A romantic glow spread over the room from the new married couple, so much in love, to the real candles used in the candelabras, to the dramatic warm amber up-lighting color washes spread throughout the room courtesy of Mike Hogan of Entertainment At Large. Mike Hogan also was the terrific master of ceremony during the dinner part of the reception.
Although for this dinner reception, not a lot of music was needed. This microphone-wielding group had plenty of other dinner entertainment planned! Knowing that the bride Sienna, who is a host on 949 radios Mikey Show in the mornings, is a big show off and loves being the center of attention, she must have felt right at home as different important people in her life took turns regaling the crowd throughout dinner with stories and entertaining acts. Her mother and father lead off by welcoming everyone. Then her sisters Avalon and Waverly, both maids of honor cleverly presented their toast with props and humor of Siennas life highlights complete with her happiness in meeting Todd. Todds brother and best man Craig shared Todd's stories too. Then Bridesmaid's Radio team stepped in with a fully scripted skit that was hysterically funny and brilliantly clever, complete with Radio Sponsor Brakes and Commercials! But the tears from laughter quickly turned to heart tugs as Emily, a Broadway actress, bridesmaid and long time friend from New York both concluded the radio session and brought down the house by singing a beautiful rendition of At Last.?
At Last? Hardly! Because after that song the party really swung into full gear! Guests were invited back into the cocktail area to watch Sienna and her father enjoy the traditional father daughter dance. But this was hardly traditional.
